Figure drawings, from oldest to newest. C:

Thursday, 23 February 2012

Facial expression practice. I must admit that I had quite a lot of fun with these and whilst drawing these I had a couple giggle snort moments. XD Still have haha XD My characters Dox and Xileah were the victims for this haha. Dox is the top and third row, Xileah the second and fourth.

Figure drawing: portrait practice and somehow a pair of feet XD Done with charcoal, tried to work faster again. Not that many this time, sorry.

Portrait day today! Quite hard actually, and took me quite some time too. Need to draw more faces from angles and try and see if I can get them done in charcoal too or in another medium.

The top 2 first sets are drawn from ref, the bottom ones, with the numbers in the order they were made, are done without ref. A long way to go still XD But fun to learn. Oh and the bottom ones are done with the directions on the singularity meme. -EDIT- Placed the bottom ones in the original meme.

Figure drawings for today, today's focusing subject: hands and feet! They are hard to draw sometimes but I had a lot of fun with this. X3 Somehow it just clicked in some parts.
Made with charcoal and pencil

Figure drawings done with pencil. Tried to be a bit faster with putting the lines down.

Figure Drawings from 09/02/2012
Made with ink and pencil. References used. The inks ones are referenced from photo's and the pencil ones are referenced from people at the concert I went to yesterday. (And yes, it was fun XD ) But why do you people move so much? Sit/stay still for a sec! XD (The first row was me trying to draw in the dark.)

Tried to work with ink this time but it didn't really flow that well and in the end I was probably too impatient. But that's the lesson I learned with this. And even though ink is tough I'm going to try it again. C:
