Silhouette studies with ink for the main character of the story. An alien visiting Madagascar. The guideline I gave myself was to make the alien out of parts/inspired by the animals found on Madagascar. Specifically the animals I made a speedpainting of to narrow it down. The ones with the red dots were the ones that I found the most interesting. And I sketched those out. As seen below.
